It never ends, does it? Hope may fade, but longing lingers. For someone to wake up warm beside you, with bad breath and dried sweat, quirks and foolishness.






























Views of Coercion deals with female stereotypes, and the difficulty of living up to today's ideals and ideas about femininity.

Matilda Kästel is a Swedish glass artist based in Stockholm. Since her MFA at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in 2013, she has been working with exhibitions, commissions, performance and workshops. Matilda Kästel is also a member of the female separatist glass group BOOM! She is represented at Nationalmuseum, Glasmuseet Ebeltoft, Denmark and at the Public Art Agency in Sweden.
